In my very own nature I love the sunset! Sunset for me symbolizes that the day is over and its time to start a new day! a new beginning... I took this photo at Polynna Beach. I was just walking in the shore and got this nice photo. Sometimes, its good to see the nature all by yourself coz you can appreciate the beauty and it feels like God is there filling your emptiness and it seems like God is hugging you through the wind.

I know some of us don't have time to admire the things that God created. Some of us forgot that God created these and that coz we are so busy doing our own thing . Busy of working , studying , and etc. Why not go out? I mean not go on bar hopping or some night outs but go out and see the things that God created. When I was just a little kid, I usually play with our pets like dogs, birds and cats. I don't know why I am close to animals... maybe because I am an animal too, correct?

Like what I've said I play with my pets because I love them but I've never seen such scary cat until now. Just take a look at this picture:

Yes, Im here again to introduce to you another fascinating falls that exist in Iligan city, The Tinago Falls... The name is derived from the place it self because it is hidden (tinago - in Visayan Dialect). In the picture you can find a guy... that's my classmate my subject (lol). Ofcourse my subject here is the falls.

Long before tinago falls was nicely developed. There were many foreigners visiting from all the world. But when the war between the MILF and philippine military begins, the visitors went to zero. White Island

One of the tourist spots in Camiguin is the White Island. It will take some time to get in the White Island but its worth to take. In the photo, thats me and my brother way back 2005 during our SEP camp. We had tour in Camiguin, all around Camiguin. We've been to the volcano (I forgot the name), hot springs, pools and white island. Yeah, the sea is so clean. You can see the corals, fishes, and unique sea creatures. You can also tan yourself there if you want. White island is just a small island with white sand and i think that's why it is called White Island (duh! everybody knows that.. peace ^_^) ]

Camiguin is such a great place to relax, especially if you try the hot springs! Wew! relaxing indeed! For the busy people there who are so workaholic and needs relaxation, why don't you have a vacation in Camiguin and experiece the beauty they got! :)

RESPECT. It's something we claim we have. Ever since the history of our conutry started, we have had this virtue all along. Since birth, we are taught to show respect to our parents, respect for elders, respect to our teachers, and yes, respect to those who we meet along the road. Indeed, it's one of the virtues embedded into our very beings, part of our inner core.

But consider this, as technological advancements heightened and the millennium came the virtue that once a great part of us has been forgotten with time. It dwindled to a great extent as to being lost and washed upon the shores of new beginnings. Why? Because in this present time, we are all in the hapit of rushing and doing a lot of things at a time. We seldom stop and take the time to evaluate if we are doing the right thing. We are caught up in our own web of troubles, not minding our actions and values.

Everywhere we turn, there are evidences of this. Children talking back to their parents, siblings fighting incessantly, students crossing their boundaries to their teachers. Ezekiel is my sister's son. He is now 9 months old. A very "malambing" baby and too "maiyakin". He was born on January 18, 2008 and he's strong and healthy. This baby is being loved with many tita's and tito's... of course, because he will be carrying our family name QUINDO.

Have you ever been to a place that really made you pissed off? A travel maybe or just in your local place that made you disappointed? I have so many experiences about these but the first thing that I remember is when I was in a particular restaurant in Iligan City.

It was on August 21,2008 where my classmate and I decided to eat in a small restaurant. Even though the restaurant was small, they had a good place. We thought that the waiter will be the one getting our orders... so, we looked at the waiter hoping for him to come at the table. But hell no, he didn't. So, my classmate went to the counter and ordered. So, after the little chit-chat and all the stuff, we were surprised of the bill we received because it was really too big. As far as I remember I think the price was times two. We asked the waiter why our bill was that big. And you know what he replied? He said "Well, that's the way it is".How stupid he was to say those words. What a gross act it was. That person made us really mad. Grrr..

I suggest that you don't eat in small restaurants who have no good crews. Who have no good service. They can make you kill a person. So, better don't go there! A Student becomes a Mommy

Here is Sarah, my big sister at the most left. She is a nursing student, supposed to graduate this year but unfortunately, her fate has changed.

She got pregnant at the age of 20 years old. All her dreams have shattered into pieces but... now, little by little she is starting to put tha broken pieces together with the help of God and we... her family. ^_^

That's her picture during her pregnancy moments. She got a little bigger. She spent most of her days at home. Watching TV, cleaning the house because she had to stop schooling. She needs a rest and time to bond her baby.

After 9 months of pregnancy, atlast, she gave birth to a baby boy named Ezekiel Dean.

After how many months of suffering... she was relieved. And now she is happy with her baby boy.

My favorite story in the bible was about the rich young man who wants to have an eternal life. This young boy ask Jesus what good things must he do to have eternal life. Jesus replied to him " Why do you ask me about what is good? Only God is good. If you want to have eternal life, you must obey his commandments." The young man said to Jesus that he already obeyed all the commandments. What else must I do? he added. "If you want to be perfect, go sell everything you own! Give money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven. Then come and be my follower" Jesus said. When the rich young man heard this, he went away sad, because he was very rich.

Yes, indeed. The story above is true nowadays. Many rich people give offerings to the church, follow God with their riches but do they really love God? Do they really obey God? Operating Room Duty

Just this morning, I had my duty in operating room at Mindanao Sanitarium Hospital. I thought monday would be a boring day at OR but I was because there's one patient who will undergo Cesarian Section. It was her 3 times CS already. All her babies were delivered in CS.

... I went to scrub section to get my self cleaned. I gowned myself and the doctors... I prepared the Mayo table and fix everything that needs to be fixed. Minutes after, all the personnel and the doctors where ready to perform the CS... The doctor incised the lower abdomen using the blade... another blade was used to incised the tissue...then I saw the one that covers the baby... they tear it and I saw the baby with a feces all over..."Meconium stage" they called. The baby smells dirt! Hehehe... NICU personnel suctioned the baby and then the little girl cried...

It was so nice to see the baby girl... Hmmm... That newborn baby will now experience the life in this world! ^_^ Well, Gotta go now! Sayonara!

Dad is getting better!

It was July 3o,2008 around 1 o'clock in the morning. Everything was okay, everybody was sleeping peacefully but suddenly dad called our names. It was ode because the voice of my Dad changed. It was like a murmur... we could barely understand. All of us went to the room of my dad hastily... to our surprise, my dad was in the floor... he could not stand, we could not understand every word he said... Me, a nursing student concluded that my dad was having his attack during that morning. He had a left sided paralysis (Stroke).

We rushed our dad to the hospital... and yes indeed the medical impression was STROKE. He stayed at the hospital for seven days... Nasogastric tube, O2 inhalation was attached to him. He could not eat by himself, a tube is needed. After seven days of confinement... the doctor decided to discharge my Dad from the hospital since his Blood pressure is already stable.

We were happy that dad was brought back at home. He was still weak but improvements were present... months later... my dad's progress is becoming fast...he can eat by himself, can move his feet very little and his interests is going back slowly...

This month, my dad can walk with the use of a walker... he can move his toes actively. He watched TV and listens to music. He interact with us and give us a smile. We are really thankful that Dad is getting better. We hope that he will be okay soon...

Disturbances in Metabolism concept is fast approaching. So, top2x and I decided to go out with Mark in the centennial park at the same time celebrating her 19th Birthday!. We spent our night there doing funny things. Look at the picture on the left, mark is happy with the food but I'm not. Only lanchon meat and another lanchon meat. Good thing Del monte juice was there!

After we ate our dinner, we drunk tequila. Sorry, I haven't took a picture of it since I know our parents will be mad at us!

Mark entertained me and top2x with his silly dancing thingy [note: he's not drunk]. I really love mark when his starting to do goofy stuffs! It really makes me laugh upto heavens. That photo on the right is one of his dancing steps. He looks like a poor ballet dancer with his orange clothes! Mark was really funny during his dance here.

When Mark was tired of dancing. We just lay down in the grass and watch the stars, moon and beautiful sky that God created. What a relaxing night it was. Muah love you mark and top2x.

All over the sports scene, we hear athletes making bold claims about their dominance over others. But what would you think if someone proclaimed, "I am the weakest!" Well, that's pretty much what Paul was declaring when he told the Corinthian church about the difficulties he had encountered. As he detailed bad event after bad event - from stonings to shipwrecks to beating - Paul laid bare his own deficiencies. He was open about being hungry and thirsty and cold.

So why did he bost about such dishearting stuff? Why did he talk about all this anti-hero stuff? Because he wanted to tell the people of Corinth that it was okay to be on the downside of trouble, because in those kinds of circumstances we have only one source of strength.

When you're shipwreck, you have only God to give you hope.

When you're being beaten, only God can help you survive.

When you're without resources, only God can come through as your provider.

Only when you are weak can you experience God's strenght.

It's okay to cry out, "I'm the weakest." Because then you can turn to God. He is the strongest, and he will turn your weakness into a triumph of his strength.

First Duckpins bowling experience

Last saturday, we had our family get together at Platinum Bowling lane. Honestly, it was my first duckpin bowling experience. Doing the bowling thing was very new to me. I don't know how to hold the ball, the correct position or even do the scoring. I just tried my best to hit the pins! That's all. I don't even bother to do the right positioning! *Laughs* Believe it or not I spared the pins *Hahaha* Cool for a newbie like me? Here's a short video of me when I spared the pins!

I played twice. During my first game, my opponent was my big bro. And the second game was my little bro. Both of them didn't give me a chance to win the game! I was a total loser! Erg.

Mark's 20th B'day

Last night, we were celebrating Mark's birthday [my bestfriend]. It was held at Paitan, Dalipuga Iligan City [their hometown]. His relatives, friends, and family were gathered to celebrate his 20th birthday. The event was started with a prayer, then, of course followed by singing happy birthday!

There were many foods served, like, spaghetti, [red ribbon] cake, ice cream, all kinds of cooking in chicken, and etc. Grr..Unfortunately, I didn't eat all the cookings that her sister made coz my appetite was not good. But anyway, I enjoyed eating the fruit salad. It was so delicioussssso!!

After the socializing effect (hahaha), my energy had gone out that prompted me to sleep there for 2 hours! Gosh* When I woke up it was already 10 in the evening. It was late already, so I gave Mark a kiss goodbye!

And me too, I am very excited to see Brad and Jolie's babies. I wonder how their babies look like. But I'm very quite sure that Knox and Viv are very pretty and handsome just like their parents. Hopefully, I can see the photos of their babies as early as now.

The 22-year old, Miss venezuela won the Miss Universe 2008 pageant marked by the unexpected falling down of Miss USA during the evening gown. Dayana Mendoza (Miss Venezuela), answered the question and answer portion nicely. I think, that was a big points for her. Congratulations.

During the selection of top 10, I also got stunned by Miss Colombia (photo at the right). You can see her walking confidently, smiling lively. And I thought Miss Colombia would win. But their was a twist during the question-answer portion. The question that she got was so common. And I already anticipated what her answer would be... and I was right! *hehehe...

I would like to comment on Miss Universe 2007. I wonder why she was not in her gown. I was shocked when I saw her wearing the "toxedo-like" dress. Hmmm... maybe she was not ready? or she got other stuffs to do? I really wonder why. She was supposed to wear gown with her crown and go around the stage.

When I'm at home, there's nothing much to do. I only turn my computer on and check my blog. Do the hopping thing and read some entries in other blogs. Well, I don't do house hold chores now, coz my sister hired a two helpers here. They do all the stuffs at home, which makes my life more boring. Good thing my nephews are there who makes the house jolly and noisy. Usually my nephews and I do little picture taking if there's nothing to do. We enjoy looking our funny faces at the camera and make goofy poist. Here are some pics we took at home:

Meet Shan Kyle, my 5 year old nephew. A very intelligent kid. Currently studying at MSU-IIT Coop Academy. He loves animals and insects like, grasshopper, ants, dogs, cats, butterflies, snails, frog, bugs and etc. I think he will be a zoologist someday. Shan Kyle is such a good boy. He obeys everything tita say...

Here is Justin, younger brother of Shan Kyle. This little boy here is quite annoying. A cry baby,always telling her mom "Mom they hurt me" even if we didn't do something bad to him. But his a loving boy, he loves younger kids, especially babies. I don't know what's his interest is. All I know, he loves to play computer games.

This is our baby Ezekiel. A very talkative baby... always bubbling around. Trying hard to be a grown up kid who knows how to talk. (Laughs) Oneday this baby will read all of that books in the pic! Go ezekiel be a smart boy like your Dad.

Trip to Ozamis!

Our air conditioned got broken and we need to buy a motor for it. Unfortunately, the motor is not available in Iligan City. You have to travel from here to Ozamis to buy the specific type of motor that we need. So my sister has decided that we gotta go there coz she cannot stand the hotness in our living room. (It's not that hot for me.) I was having second thoughts if I will go coz I know it will be tiring but hey!Good thing I was there with them. I did enjoy riding the barge with my nephews (but not the travel by truck). I was enjoying watching the sea and the view of the mountains. As soon as we arrived in Ozamis City we directly went to sharp company and bought the motor that we need... While we were travelling aroud the city... the place quite a mess and unorganized. I was expecting a clean and organize place but it wasn't. But anyway, I enjoy the trip because we went shopping! We bought some stuffs like ball, boxing gloves, ring, and etc. We also stop by a restaurant and eat our dinner... then we go home straight... It was around 9pm when we got home. I was exhausted and directly went to bed and slept like a baby.

Welcome to Midway Beach Resort! Another beach in Initao. Yes, there are many beaches in initao, not just an ordinary beach but a cool place to enjoy. The SEP (Summer Educational Program) was conducted in Midway Beach resort. SEP is an annual activity of our church (WCG) where youth gathered and learn more about Jesus. Get to know with other young people and share experiences.

Yes, I wish I could join the SEP next year since I missed a lot of SEP's now... I'm left behind... T_T I want to go to other places too.. like this place.

This falls is found somewhere in Dikilaan which is a remote area... I call it secret falls since this is located far far away from the city... Few people visited this falls because its not that famous. Despite of being unfamous, you cannot say that this is not beautiful. Look at the falls , isn't it amazing how God created this? I mean look at it its so WOW! I really wish one day this waterfalls will be developed and be recognized by many people!

Why did God created us?

Have you ever wondered why God made you or why he made people at all? well, it wasn't because he needed us. And he didn't make us because he was lonely. Long berfore we were here, God the Father already had "company" with his Son and the Holy Spirit. All of God's needs for companionship are met within the Trinity. He also didn't make us because he needed people to tell him how great he is. God is totally secure in who he is -- and he always been.

Despite not needing us, God chose to create us anyway, out of his great love. Yes, God loved usbefore he even created us. This concept is bigger than our tiny brains, but it's true; that's what "everlasting" love means. God is love and becauseof that love and his wonderful creativity, he made us so we can enjoy all that he is and all that he's done.

Because of the deep love God has for you, you will always have at least one unfailing friend! Maybe he's not flesh and blood and waiting at your locker for you after class. But that's part of what's so cool about God. He's a friend who is with you all the time. Whether you're at the cool kid's party or just at home alone, God is always right there with you. The God of the universe is just waitng to spend time with you. Hey, have a blast hanging out with Him today!
